How To Successfully Implement The Stanford Neuromodulation Therapy Protocol For Rapid Relief Of Major Depressive Disorder
Stanford Neuromodulation Therapy (SNT) is an accelerated and functionally guided approach to delivering repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS). SNT has been demonstrated to be very effective in rapidly relieving symptoms of patients with severe treatment resistant major depressive disorder. SNT is FDA cleared, and covered by Medicaid across the United States, garnering a significant interest in making this approach widely available. After conducting over 20,000 rTMS sessions, the Stanford Brain Stimulation Lab refined the protocol into a protocol paper to guide users on how to successfully implement SNT in clinical research and in a clinical setting.
In this webinar, Dr Derrick Buchanan discusses some of the clinical evidence, comparisons with other methods, scientific rationale related to the development of the protocol, advantages, and limitations, as well as walking the audience through a guide to implementing the protocol with our specific recommendations
Dr. Derrick Buchanan is an author, speaker, educator, inventor, entrepreneur, and international award winning PhD Clinical Neuroscientist originally from Ottawa, Canada, residing at Stanford University Department of Psychiatry since 2021.
